DOG SITTING & DOG FRIENDLY COURSES
SERVICE OVERVIEW
- Ascent Guides offers dog sitting services for clients who wish to leave their dogs in the care of trained professionals while engaging in mountaineering activities.
- The dog sitting service includes feeding, walking & ensuring the well-being & safety of the dogs during the specified period.
BOOKING & PAYMENT
- Clients must make advance reservations for the dog sitting service.
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking.
- Full payment for the dog sitting service is due before the client’s departure for the mountaineering activity.
DOG health & requirements
- Clients must provide up-to-date vaccination records for their dogs.
- Dogs must be in good health, free from contagious diseases & have suitable identification.
- Ascent Guides reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if a dog displays aggressive or dangerous behaviour.
DOG FRIENDLY COURSES
- Ascent Guides may offer dog-friendly mountaineering courses where well-behaved dogs are allowed to accompany their owners.
- Clients participating in dog-friendly courses are responsible for the behaviour, safety & well-being of their dogs during the activity.
- Ascent Guides reserves the right to exclude any dog that disrupts the course or poses a risk to others.
EMERGENCY SITuATIONS
- In case of a medical emergency or any unforeseen circumstances involving the dog, Ascent Guides will make reasonable attempts to contact the client or the emergency contact provided.
- If the client cannot be reached, Ascent Guides is authorised to seek veterinary care for the dog & any related expenses will be the responsibility of the client.
Cancellation policy
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled service will result in the forfeiture of the full payment.
- Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance will result in the forfeiture of the non-refundable deposit.
Liability
- Ascent Guides will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety & well-being of the dogs, but clients acknowledge that outdoor activities carry inherent risks.
- Ascent Guides is not liable for any injury, illness, or loss of the dog while in its care.
Cancellation policy
- Clients are responsible for providing accurate & detailed information about their dogs, including any special requirements or medical conditions.
- Clients are to inform the Company of any changes in their contact information or emergency contact details.

By engaging in the dog sitting services provided by Ascent Guides or participating in dog-friendly courses, clients acknowledge & agree to abide by these terms & conditions.
