With the sea ever present below, sea cliff climbing comes with buckets of exposure & can be one of the most exhilarating adventures a climber undertakes! Ascent guides predominately offers courses in North Wales on the stunning sea cliffs of Anglesey (Gogarth), but if you have ambitions for climbing areas or specific routes elsewhere, we will try our very best to facilitate this.

Who is this course for?

Jumping in at the deep end isn’t really an option for this course. Due to the more committing environment our Sea Cliff Climbing course is designed for individuals who already possess a solid foundation in rock climbing & who can handle more exposure climbing. So, if you’re eager to take your climbing to another level or even have special routes in mind this is the course for you.

WhAT DO I NEED?

We’re not suggesting you to go out & spend all the money on all the latest technical kit, this is just a sensible list that in terms of keeping safe & comfortable, works. In the same vein though, the weather on the day & the time of year will be big factors to help decide what you will & won’t pack. Ascent guides are more than happy to give advice and/or answer any questions you have regarding kit.
