GUIDED WALKS

Our guided walks are designed to offer a perfect blend of adventure, education & amazing mountainous scenery (weather dependant!). Whatever your goals are have reassurance of a qualified, experienced & knowledgeable person with you every step of the way. Ascent Guides predominantly use the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park for most of our guided walks but if you have ambitions for other mountainous areas, specific walks or summits elsewhere, we will try our very best to facilitate this.

FLORA & FAUNA

A guide can help identify local plants, trees, & wildlife along the route. They may explain the ecological significance of certain species & their adaptations to the environment.

HISTORY & CULTURE

Depending on the area, guides might share stories about the region’s history, including indigenous cultures, exploration or notable events that took place in the area.

SUMMIT ASCENTS

For more challenging walks, reaching a summit can be a goal. Guides will lead participants up to the summit, ensuring safety & providing encouragement along the way.

Who is this course for?

Our guided walks can be tailored for a diverse range of individuals, making it an inclusive & enriching experience for various interests & fitness levels. Walkers of all levels, from experienced to novices, will find something that’s right for them. Families are welcomed to share an adventure, with guides ensuring a pace that accommodates all members.

WhAT DO I NEED?

We’re not suggesting you to go out & spend all the money on all the latest technical kit, this is just a sensible list that in terms of keeping safe & comfortable, works. In the same vein, the weather on the day & the time of year will be big factors to help decide what you will & won’t pack. Ascent guides are more than happy to give advice and/or answer any questions you have regarding kit.
